Press Release

March 15, 2010

GlobalGayz.com, one of the Internet's largest LGBT charitable travel and culture websites, has unveiled its revised site,
incorporating a new appearance, extended content and a new format for advertising functions.

The site now makes it easier to access its content: Stories about gay life in more than 180 countries, thousands of current and archived News & Reports, extensive Photo Galleries as well as countless Links to people, places and ideas. An exciting new feature is our Search function that allows a reader to quickly search our thousands of pages.

In addition there are Special Directories with listings for international Gay Lodgings, for Immigration and Asylum assistance, for important Upcoming Events Worldwide, for LGBT Travel Agents & Tours, for Gay Travel Books, a list of Gay Travel Writers, an informative Frugal Travel page and a legal brief on Sexual Orientation and the Law. GlobalGayz also welcomes personal questions: the owner is a gay clinical psychologist.

Readers can obtain specific LGBT in-depth information on far off destinations and issues via the single GlobalGayz portal. Although the site offers some links to popular venues such as clubs and organizations the site goes beyond these entertainments to offer insightful information about LGBT culture, history, religion, legal issues, political events, health and more.

Our new for-profit commercial status allows us to pursue our mission to donate portions of our profits to small LGBT human rights and health organizations working for equality and justice worldwide. Many of these are located in developing countries where such work faces daunting uphill struggles against highly homophobic societies, governments and religious systems. The world is becoming a better place due to the heroic efforts of these small under-funded groups and determined activists. GlobalGayz applauds and supports them.

Sincerely,
Richard Ammon
